Jessica contributes to the identification and evaluation of investment opportunities at Ysios Capital, from both scientific and business viewpoints.
Jessica has more than 8 years’ experience in biomedical research. Prior to joining Ysios, Jessica worked at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB) Barcelona, where she studied kinase signaling pathways during the progression of lung cancer. She has also held research positions focusing on hematopoietic stem cell features at IMIM–Hospital del Mar, muscle physiology and degeneration at Osnabrueck University, and diagnostic methods for osteoarticular disorders at University of Oviedo.
Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oviedo, and a MSc and PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona. Jessica has also participated in entrepreneurship training sessions at the law and business school of Escola Superior d’Administració i Direcció d’Empreses (ESADE).
