Biography
Malgorzata is responsible for identifying and assessing investment opportunities at Ysios Capital from both scientific and business perspectives. She brings over 15 years of experience in life sciences, with expertise in RNA therapeutics and gene regulation in genetic diseases, oncology, and metabolic disorders.
Prior to joining Ysios, Malgorzata was a senior researcher at the Centre for Genomic Regulation in Barcelona. She has authored 17 high-impact publications, including first authorships in Nature and Science, and has been awarded the prestigious Marie Curie and Juan de la Cierva fellowships.
Malgorzata holds a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology, with a focus on Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Chemistry, as well as an MSc in Biotechnology, both from the Technical University of Lodz, Poland. She earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from the International Centre for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (ICGEB) in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, where her research focused on developing gene therapies for splicing-related diseases.
